What is a Quebec Job Find Centre?

The primary goal of a Job Find Centre is to help people find work, regardless of their age, source of income, business sector or level of education.

Each Centre has a team of professionals who can provide you with advice and support as you look for work.

We guide you through every step of the job-searching process to enable you find the job that best matches your aptitudes and interests.

We offer a broad range of personalized services.

In other words, we are there to help, support, encourage and advise you as you walk down your career path.

Our motivation = your needs, your satisfaction and your success!

Can you help me write my résumé?

YES. Our counsellors can help you write a new résumé or update your old one. We use a number of different types of résumés to show you how you can highlight your skills and work experience.

How much do your services cost?

Most of our services are free, thanks to agreements signed with Emploi-Québec. However, some services have eligibility criteria.

In addition to the support provided by our counsellors, Quebec Job Find Centres offer a number of free resources to job seekers:

• Internet access
• Phones (for local and long-distance calls)
• Computer equipment (PCs, etc.)
• Word processing for letters and résumés
• AV material
• Photocopier and fax
• Documentation centre (newspapers, specialized employment magazines, etc.)
• Job postings

I am a recent immigrant. Can I use your services?

YES, we have specialized services for immigrants. We can provide you with information on the Quebec job market, local companies, Quebec culture and professional internships.

Our team of professionals will guide you through every stage of the job-search process. We can give you suggestions on what to do and where to look for the job you want.

Quebec Job Find Centres can help you quickly find the job that best fits  your interests, goals and skills. We show you how and where to look for work, and provide you with the support and tools you need. Our counsellors can teach you effective job-search methods so you can get the job you want.

Do you have services specifically for companies or organizations?

YES. Several of our organizations act as coaching, human resource management and organizational development consultants. Take advantage of our competitive rates!

I am an employer. Can I send you job postings?

YES, your job postings can be shared across the network. Forward your job postings to acreq@cre.qc.ca if you want them posted throughout Quebec, or use our list of members to send them directly to the regions where you want to recruit.
